Experienced Pig Stockperson
Near Woodbridge, Suffolk
- Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year (depending on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Pig Stockperson to join our small, friendly team on a well-managed indoor, straw-based pig finishing unit near Woodbridge, Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous pig stockperson experience who is passionate about high animal welfare standards and enjoys working in a hands-on farming environment. We are committed to investing in our people by providing quality equipment, ongoing training and opportunities to develop your skills.
The Role
As a Pig Stockperson, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the finishing unit, including:

- Feeding, bedding and mucking out
- Handling, loading and unloading pigs
- Maintaining excellent animal welfare standards
- General pig husbandry
- Supporting our outdoor rearing site during busy periods
- Operating tractors and telehandlers (training provided)
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous pig stockperson experience (essential)
- Be committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare
- Be reliable, self-motivated and flexible
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent timekeeping
- Hold a full UK driving licence and possess your own transport (due to the rural location)

Pay and Benefits
- Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience
- Working hours: Monday to Friday with one in three weekends worked (45 hours per week)
- Working routine: Variable start times, including some early mornings (earlier finishes)
- Equipment: High-quality machinery and equipment provided
- Training: Ongoing on- and off-farm training to support career development
- Job type: Permanent, full-time position
