About Create Fit
Create Fit is a rapidly expanding UK training provider delivering nationally recognised fitness and Pilates qualifications. We are committed to developing exceptional fitness professionals through high-quality education, robust assessment practices, and learner-focused support.
As our programmes continue to grow, we are expanding our team of experienced Pilates Assessors to support the assessment of learner coursework and portfolios across our qualifications.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pilates Assessor to join our remote assessment team.
This is a flexible freelance position, ideal for professionals already working within the fitness, Pilates, or education sectors who are looking to undertake assessment work alongside their existing commitments.
The role focuses exclusively on the assessment of learner coursework and portfolio evidence. No practical teaching or tutoring is required.
Work is allocated according to learner enrolments and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess learner coursework and portfolio evidence against qualification standards.
- Make fair, accurate, and consistent assessment decisions.
- Provide clear, constructive, and developmental written feedback.
- Ensure all assessment decisions comply with awarding organisation and centre requirements.
- Maintain accurate learner records and meet agreed assessment turnaround times.
- Liaise with the Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) where required.
- Support the delivery of a high-quality learner experience through consistent assessment practice.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Pilates or a related movement discipline.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), or another recognised Level 3 qualification in vocational teaching or assessment.
- Strong understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, movement analysis, and safe exercise practice.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using digital learning platforms, Microsoft Office, and online assessment systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Applicants must be based in England and have the right to work in the UK.

Desirable
- Previous experience assessing vocational qualifications in the fitness or Pilates sector.
- Experience working with awarding organisations or regulated qualifications.
- Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) knowledge or experience.
- Experience providing learner support and developmental feedback.
