Equinox Pilates Instructor

Responsibilities
Core Contributions
- Design safe, tailored Pilates programs for each client to drive measurable goals, progress, and engagement.
- Conduct complimentary initial client assessments and set clear, realistic objectives with personalized recommendations.
- Instruct dynamic private, duet, and semi-private sessions, ensuring professional standards.
- Partner with Pilates Manager to expand your client base among existing EQUINOX members.
- Adhere to client management administrative standards.
Club-Level Collaboration
- Work seamlessly with other departments to curate an integrated member experience (e.g., cohesion with gym, classes, retail, and wellness).
- Deliver premium client service, meeting both EQUINOX’s and member expectations.
Growth & Accountability
- Ensure high client activity—frequent sessions drive exceptional results.
- Dedicate time to ongoing education (certification, workshops, training).
- Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness/hygiene with industry best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
Certification
- Completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus:
- Mat, Reformer
- Cadillac / Trapeze Table
- Wunda Chair
- High/Low Combo Chair
- Barrels
- Minimum 400 certificated training hours (verifiable via certifying body).
- Must provide original, legible copies of Pilates certifications.

Essential Physical Demands
- Prolonged standing, sitting, and moderate walking.
- Ability to squat, bend, reach, and spot clients safely.
