Job Description
As an Equinox Pilates Instructor, your career transforms into an empowered lifestyle built on maximising your own potential and guiding clients toward theirs. Under the guidance of an experienced Pilates manager, you’ll refine approaches to programming, education, and business development, ensuring limitless growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates training programs tailored to each client’s goals.
- Conduct initial complimentary assessments and collaborative goal-setting for personalised recommendations.
- Instruct in private, duet, and semi-private sessions.
- Collaborate with a Pilates manager to expand your client base and drive growth.
- Complete all administrative requirements for client management.
- Partner with other departments to enhance member experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both members and guests.
- Ensure clients achieve results through consistent productivity and regular sessions.
- Participate in ongoing training for professional development.
- Maintain studio hygiene and equipment standards.
Qualifications
Certification Requirements
- Test-out or completion of a comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program.
- Certification in the use of all Pilates apparatus, including:
- Mat
- Reformer
- Cadillac/Trapeze
- Wunda Chair
- High/Combo Chair
- Barrels
- A minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education must be completed.
- Must provide a valid copy of your Pilates certification(s) upon application.
