Ping Identity Security and Compliance (SC) Cleared – Senior Technical Specialist (Inside IR35)
Whitehall Resources are currently seeking an experienced Ping Identity Subject Matter Expert (SME), cleared to Security Check (SC) level, working in an Inside IR35 contract with an accredited FCSA umbrella company.
You must not have spent more than 6 months outside the UK in the last 5 years.
Core Responsibilities
- Implement & support PingID authentication solutions, ensuring secure, seamless access for end users
- Design & maintain multifactor authentication (MFA) capabilities, aligning with enterprise security standards
- Integrate applications with Ping Identity technologies, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Troubleshoot authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity & access management (IAM) issues
- Drive IAM transformation & improvement projects, optimising workflows and reducing friction for users
- Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver cohesive solutions
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices
- Produce technical documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and training resources

Minimum Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in identity & access management (IAM), preferably with Ping Identity products
- Deep expertise in MFA implementations, protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) and identity federation
- Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication-related challenges
- Understanding of ** enterprise security architectures, zero trust models, and compliance frameworks (e.g. NIS2, ISO 27001)**
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders
