Pipe Solutions Design Services provides specialised design services for pipework, piping, and plant systems. Our expertise includes thermal expansion and contraction analysis, pipe stress analysis, seismic analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA) of vessels, nozzles, pipes, and supports. We also conduct fluid surge and water hammer analysis, as well as vibration control and noise measurement surveys. Our comprehensive services ensure the integrity and efficiency of piping systems.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipe and Support FEA Design Engineer / Stress Analyst located in Harrogate. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing finite element analysis on pipe spools, pipe supports, pipe support bracketry, and frames. Day-to-day tasks also include using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to develop and evaluate mechanical engineering designs and solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Product Design
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in Solidworks Simulation is essential
- Previous experience with RSTAB and Revit is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
