Pipe Fitter - Pharmaceutical

Location: Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 5QJ
Duration: 6 Month + Contract Position
Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm
Rate: £30.00 - £32.00 per hour CIS

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe fitter to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a pipework installation and maintenance contract at a pharmaceutical facility in Leek, ST13 5QJ.
Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter you will be working on site at a live pharmaceutical facility in Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 5SP. Responsibilities will include both the removal and replacement of existing damaged, obsolete and corroded process pipework along with the installation of new lines to new production machinery and equipment. Typical duties will include:
- Installing 1" to 4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework
- Using schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter
- Using carbon steel up to 6"
- Fitting the associated pipe supports and brackets
- Assisting other pipe fitters as necessary

About You
Based ideally in Staffordshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of ST13 5QJ.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience of fitting stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential.
- Good all-round mechanical fitting experience.
- CSCS or CCNSG and IPAF are preferred.
