Pipe Fitter – Shipbuilding & Ship Repair

Navantia UK is a new force in British industry, supporting the UK’s defence, energy, and maritime ambitions. We’re creating state-of-the-art sovereign defence capabilities, modernising industrial facilities, and bolstering national energy security. Established in 2022 as a subsidiary of Navantia SA, a Spanish state-owned company with over 300 years of naval shipbuilding history, Navantia UK acquired Harland & Wolff in January 2025, combining its proud heritage and facilities with Navantia’s global expertise. This strengthens Britain’s defence, maritime, and energy industrial capabilities while generating jobs and economic growth across the UK.

  • Units and blocks during new-build construction
  • Ships under construction
  • Replacement of defective pipe system elements in ship repair projects

Projects will cover a range of vessels across naval, marine, and repair sectors, requiring flexibility between new-build fabrication and construction, and ship repair tasks.

  • Safety and Compliance

    • Maintain a safe working environment, strictly adhering to Navantia UK’s safety procedures
  • Technical Execution

    • Read and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, spool fabrication sheets, and engineering documents

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
