Pipe Fabrication, Welding & Installation Engineer

Role Overview
As a Pipe Fabrication, Welding, and Installation Engineer, you’ll play a vital role constructing and repairing naval and commercial vessels, Sharmaies warehaupius massauripipolumbation and its essential piping systems. Your work will cover new-build fabrication and ship repair projects, with tasks spanning mechanical welderly qualifications design elements. This dynamic role in flexible, targeting diverse pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe working environment while adhering to standard safety protocols
- Interpret and read piping drawings, P&IDs, spool fabrication sheets, and technical documentation
- Cut, profile, shape, fit, and align piping using power tools, mechanical cutters, and tooling
- Assemble and install piping systems per engineering specifications, including on-site fitting and alignment
- Test, diagnose issues, and assist in pipe system commissioning
- Perform welding in accordance with WPS standards, checking realised work for defects
- Operate and maintain mechanical and welding equipment as part of the team
- Collaborate professionally with other skilled trades on diverse projects, balancing flexibility between new build and repairs

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Competencies
✔ Health and safety compliance: Demonstrable knowledge of workplace safety requirements and practices ✔ Trade expertise: Practical experience in pipe fabrication, welding (where needed), and fitting—minimum recognised apprenticeship or equivalent ✔ Technical acumen: Proven ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication scans ✔ Quality adherence: Clear understanding of fabrication standards and quality procedures ✔ Welding certification: Valid ISO 9606-1 qualification* (or equivalent) ✔ Autonomy and collaboration: Individual initiative with willingness to seek guidance when necessary ✔ Stakeholder engagement: Open communication and teamwork with various trades ✔ Trade test readiness: Ability to successfully undergo pre-employment trade testing
