Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
This role offers a combination of workshop-based fabrication and site installation work. Experience in TIG welding and pipework is valuable and provides the opportunity to contribute to a variety of practical, hands-on projects within a collaborative team environment.
The purpose of the role is to maximise productivity, enhance the customer experience, and support continuous improvement in operational technical processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose system issues during pipework installation and equipment testing
- Carry out modifications, repairs, and installation adjustments to meet specific customer requirements, both on-site and within the depot
- Collaborate with hire and service desks, Sales, and Operations teams to build strong communication channels and share relevant customer insights
- Use advanced software, diagnostic technology, and a range of hand tools, while working from blueprints, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, regional hire and operations managers, senior technicians, and customers to provide updates and support continuous improvement
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- Strong knowledge of, and experience in, pipefitting, TIG welding, or closely related mechanical fabrication work
- Practical experience in stainless steel pipework fabrication and installation
- Effective communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in apps, diagnostic software, and Microsoft Office Suite

Skills and Capabilities
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and collaborative approach
- Relevant trade-based or technical certifications are advantageous
- Gas Safe and F-Gas qualifications are advantageous
- Flexibility to cover standby and call-out duties on a planned rota, including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays
- Full UK driving licence, as a company vehicle will be provided
- Right to work in the country of application
