Role Description
This full-time Pipefitter/Welder role is an on-site position based in Stoke-On-Trent. The role involves installing, fabricating, and maintaining pipework systems for compressed air, steam, and related industrial services. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Measuring and cutting pipes
- Assembling and welding pipe sections
- Performing quality checks on completed work

The Pipefitter/Welder will collaborate with engineers and project engineers to ensure safe, efficient installations and carry out repairs and modifications as required. The role also includes adherence to health and safety standards, proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, and accurate documentation of work performed.
Qualifications
- Strong pipework skills, including experience with Pipe and Pipefitting in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Welding techniques, with specific experience in TIG Welding.
- Knowledge of Steam systems, including safe handling and installation of steam-related plant and equipment would be a benefit but not essential.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in welding, pipefitting, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Commitment to safe working practices and familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant maintenance settings is an advantage.
