Role Overview

ACEPP UK is seeking an experienced Field Piping Engineer to support one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C (HPC).

Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering and construction team, you will act as the technical link between design and site installation, ensuring piping systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in supporting piping installation activities, resolving technical challenges in the field, and ensuring construction progresses in line with project requirements, specifications, and programme milestones.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a nationally significant nuclear project, supporting the installation of safety-critical piping systems while collaborating with industry-leading engineering and construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the installation of piping systems, including pipework, supports, and associated components
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with project quality standards
  • Review and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, specifications, and method statements
  • Provide on-site technical guidance to contractors and construction teams
  • Ensure full compliance with UK nuclear regulations, CDM requirements, and project QA/QC standards
  • Actively promote a strong HSE culture, identifying risks and driving mitigation measures
  • Monitor construction progress, report on performance, and proactively address schedule risks
  • Resolve technical and construction issues such as clashes, tolerances, or material constraints
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, client representatives, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Support testing, pressure testing, flushing, and pre-commissioning activities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
