Pizza Chef
Part-Time Pizza Chef – Hot Saint, The Old Queen’s Head
Location: North London (The Old Queen’s Head) Role Type: Part-Time
We’re seeking a passionate Part-Time Pizza Chef to join our thriving team at Hot Saint, our in-house pizza concept in one of North London’s most iconic pubs—The Old Queen’s Head.
About the Role
This role revolves entirely around crafting amazing pizza. You’ll work alongside our kitchen team to deliver top-tier pizzas consistently, whether it’s during busy pub services, high-volume weekends, or late-night sessions. If you’re a purist who lives and breathes pizza—dough masters, high-energy performers, and quality-focused chefs—this is your opportunity.
Responsibilities
Pizza Mastery:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality, mouthwatering pizzas during service
- Managing dough production, fermentation, and prepping to ensure consistency in every pie
- Handling pizza ovens, mastering temp control, and cooking under pressure

Kitchen Operations:
- Supporting fast-paced, smooth kitchen workflows during peak hours and late nights
- Maintaining strict food hygiene and cleanliness standards, minimising food waste
Team Collaboration:
- Working seamlessly with the broader kitchen and venue team to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Helping manage stock, prep levels, and waste minimisation
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in a busy pizza kitchen
- Dough Expertise: Strong understanding of dough handling, fermentation techniques, and pizza oven mastery
- Circumstance Handling: Ability to stay calm, organised, and focused during high-pressure service
- Attitude: Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented mindset
- Quality Focus: Uncompromising standards for cleanliness, consistency, and quality
- Availability: Willingness to work evenings and weekends
