Grind is a coffee company that lives in London

Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, we've expanded across London with cafés, coffee trucks and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery.

About Grind

Our cafes and coffee shops are the beating heart of Grind, they are where it all began. We're a bustling hub in the heart of London's most iconic places, known for serving our specialty coffee and renowned bottomless brunches.

We think coffee can be a force for good. Whether it's through creating the UK's first compostable coffee pods, our plastic-free packaging or carbon-free shipping - we're on a mission to be the world's most sustainable coffee company.

In 2023, we created our charity, the Better Coffee Foundation, to undo the damage done by the global coffee industry - in our first year, we recovered 43 million pods' worth of ocean-bound plastic.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Pizza Chef de Partie to join our exclusive Shoreditch team — the only Grind location in the group that serves pizza. As our flagship pizza site, Shoreditch offers a unique environment where quality, creativity, and pace come together to deliver an elevated dining experience built around fresh dough and seasonal ingredients.

As a Pizza CDP, you will be responsible for supporting and running the pizza section to deliver exceptional pizzas that meet our Grind standards whilst also providing support for our brunch and small plates menus. You’ll be confident preparing dough, stretching, topping, and cooking at speed while maintaining consistency and precision. Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with senior chefs and the wider kitchen team to deliver smooth, high-quality services in this fast-paced, high-volume site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
