Role Overview
Meezo is seeking a highly motivated and well-networked Placement Agent to lead our capital-raising efforts. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to our leadership team, identifying and securing investment from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and venture capital firms. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end fundraising process, from investor outreach and initial pitches to coordinating due diligence and closing the round.
Key Responsibilities
- Investor Outreach: Proactively identify and engage a qualified pipeline of potential investors who align with Meezo’s fintech vision and market position.
- Strategic Positioning: Work closely with the founders to refine our pitch deck, financial model, and investment narrative to ensure the highest probability of conversion.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for prospective investors, managing the cadence of meetings, follow-ups, and data requests throughout the fundraising lifecycle.
- Process Coordination: Lead the fundraising process with discipline, ensuring that investor questions are addressed promptly and that the momentum of the round is maintained.
- Negotiation & Closing: Support the leadership team in navigating term sheets and finalizing investment agreements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Network: An established network of contacts in the fintech or startup investment space (e.g., Angel Investors, VCs, Family Offices).
- Experience: Proven track record in successfully raising capital for early-stage startups or private ventures.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate a complex fintech vision clearly and persuasively.
- Integrity & Compliance: A commitment to ethical fundraising practices and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements regarding private placements.
- Self-Starter: A results-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation
This role is structured on a success-fee basis. Commission will be payable only upon the successful completion and funding of investment rounds introduced and managed through your efforts. Specific terms and percentages will be negotiated based on experience and the nature of the capital raised.
