Accountancy Placement Opportunities – Undergraduate
Applications for placements will open later this year. Register your interest to receive updates on when applications open.
We provide two placement options for undergraduate students:
- Year-long industrial placement
- Six-week summer placement
Both placements offer valuable insights into working with us and an understanding of what accountancy careers have to offer.
Industrial Placements for Undergraduate Students
Join us as a trainee accountant for an full-year placement, starting in mid-August.

As a trainee, you’ll be fully immersed in accounting life, training alongside our first-year graduate trainees. You’ll be placed in one of these teams:
- Business Advisory Team – Learn general accounting.
- Audit Team – Gain experience in auditing.
Key Benefits:
- Paid placements – Financial compensation during your time with us.
- Potential ongoing employment – You may be offered a part-time internship during your final university year. This would be a paid, part-time role alongside completing your degree.
Additionally, successful industrial placement students may be offered a permanent trainee position after graduation. Our trainee offer includes:
- Fully funded training towards the Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
- Both qualifications are equivalent to a Masters’ degree.

Eligibility:
You can apply for our industrial placements if:
- You are a second-year undergraduate on a four-year degree course, including a year-long work placement in the third year.
- You are currently studying any degree.
