Tasks
To provide administrative and coordination support to the Environment, Sustainability & Innovation function. The intern will assist with environment and sustainability data management, reporting activities, and innovation management, to gain an understanding of how environmental performance is measured and improved within a construction business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collation and entry of project data, including energy consumption, waste and material use, as part of KPI performance tracking.
- Carry out basic data checks to identify gaps or anomalies.
- Help maintain internal trackers and databases such as Smart Waste.
- Manage the environment and sustainability knowledge hub sharepoint page.
- Support the preparation of quarterly KPI review information.
- Assist in updating innovation trackers.
- Support the documentation of new innovation ideas and initiatives.
- Undertake short research tasks (e.g., industry trends, low carbon materials).
- Provide general administrative support to the team where required.

Qualifications
- Studying towards or recently completed a degree in Sustainability, Environment Management, or related degree.
- Interest in sustainability in construction.
- A genuine interest in and understanding of environmental issues and relevant legislation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- The ability to take the lead on tasks as required and to inspire others.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work with good organization and time management.
