This is primarily an office-based role, with the option to work from home for up to six days each month. Our office is in a rural location, so you'll need a full driving licence and access to your own car.
Unfortunately, this role isn't suitable for applicants who rely on public transport.

Role Description
The Placement Year – Marketing Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cranbrook. The position supports the marketing team in promoting Electronic Specifier’s digital platforms and resources to the global electronics engineering community. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with market research, helping to plan and execute marketing campaigns, and supporting sales and customer service activities. The Marketing Assistant will contribute to creating and updating marketing materials, coordinating email and social media communications, and monitoring campaign performance. The role also involves liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate product information and timely delivery of promotional content.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to conduct Market Research and analyze industry trends to support marketing and sales initiatives.
- Customer Service skills to respond professionally to inquiries and maintain positive relationships with clients and audiences.
- Interest or experience in Sales and Sales & Marketing, supporting lead generation and campaign follow-up.
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working with digital tools, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media channels.
- Knowledge of or interest in the electronics or technology sector is an advantage.
