You'll play a vital role in ensuring our assets remain safe, compliant, reliable and available, helping us deliver outstanding service for customers and the environment.

About The Role

As Planned Maintenance Manager, you'll lead a team of M&E technicians and work closely with operational managers, contractors and support teams to ensure maintenance activities are planned and delivered effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prioritise workloads and ensure maintenance activities are delivered within agreed service levels.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams to understand business priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external M&E service providers and contractors.

  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance scheduling, processes and asset performance.
  • Provide technical leadership, supporting complex fault diagnosis and problem resolution.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational standards.
  • Manage assigned operational and capital budgets.
  • Support business resilience through participation in the regional Duty Manager rota.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
