We are seeking a dedicated Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Engineer with industrial experience to join our client’s team in Guildford, South East, on a permanent basis.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance on automated machinery within intralogistics and warehouse environments, including conveyors, auto loaders, and related equipment. This role involves travelling to customer sites, conducting routine inspections, repairs, and breakdown support to ensure optimal operation of machinery.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites for routine inspections, repairs, and breakdown support.
- Ensure optimal operation of automated machinery.
- Work closely with the service support team to uphold high standards of service and safety compliance.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Background in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering (HND/HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Preferred electrical qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395, or EAL Inspection and Testing.
- Minimum electrical qualification: building services or electrotechnical craft level 2.

Experience:
- Experience with conveyors, automated systems, and heavy machinery.

Skills:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers effectively.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
