Planner – Reading/Bristol/Plymouth (Hybrid)

About the Role
As a Planner at KBR, you will:
- Develop, coordinate, and implement project plans and schedules in line with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure objectives are met within timelines and budgets.
- Oversee program delivery for infrastructure , civil engineering, and build projects, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan & Schedule: Create detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring all activities are clearly defined, monitored, and controlled.
- Risk Management: Work with project teams to identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, while developing contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report project progress, risks, and status updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Compliance & Delivery: Guarantee project deadlines and budgets are met, while ensuring work aligns with company policies.
- Advisory Support: Provide mentorship to project teams on best practices and procedural compliance.
- Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, updating plans as required for program success.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in project reviews, contributing to refinement of planning and scheduling methodologies.

Experience Required
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects, including infrastructure planning and delivery.
- Competency in:
- CPM networks
- Resource/cost loading
- Risk management techniques
- Ability to analyse progress trends, identify patterns, and recommend corrective actions.
- Capable of working under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines while maintaining quality.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Report Writing competency.
- Project Planning & Scheduling experience (including use of tools like Primavera P6, Pertmaster).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Primary Work Locations:

- Plymouth
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (flexible office/remote options).
Security Clearance:
- SC (Secret Clearance) required.
