We are recruiting a Planner / Senior Planner to join a tier:one leaders expanding Energy unit. You will take ownership of a major GBP80m high:voltage infrastructure programme spread across three geographical sites, balancing hybrid working with regional site visits.
The Role
Bridging the gap between initial scheduling and live site execution, your day:to:day will involve:
- Programme Management: Developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules to reflect change.
- Delivery Interface: Acting as the main link between the planning function and project delivery teams.
- Progress Tracking: Monitoring and reporting real:time project progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Contract Compliance: Leading weekly review meetings and producing NEC3/NEC4 contract:compliant reports.
- Scheduling: Building site planning schedules, phasing plans, and communicating status to stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
- Sector Experience: Project planning background within the UK infrastructure, utility, or power sectors. HV electrical or substation experience is highly desirable.
- Software Skills: Advanced, hands:on proficiency with Primavera P6 and Aphex.
- Contract Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contract mechanisms.
- Analytics: Demonstrated capability in progress tracking and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Location: Degree:qualified (or equivalent) and commutable across the Northwest / North Wales for hybrid site visits.
