Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm | Friday, 7:00am – 11:00am
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months)
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Planning Administrator to join a Planning team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Working closely with the Planning and Purchasing teams, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the planning function. You will be responsible for maintaining planning documentation, updating records and systems, and supporting the wider team with administrative and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Planning Team and occasional support to Purchasing
- Maintain and update planning documentation accurately and efficiently
- Ensure production and planning records are complete, accurate and up to date
- Process and organise documentation in line with company procedures
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of internal systems and databases
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective communication of planning information
- Support planners with reporting and general administrative tasks
- File, archive and manage documentation in accordance with company standards
- Identify and highlight discrepancies, errors or missing information
- Contribute to maintaining an organised and efficient planning function

Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
