Our company is split into two business areas:
- Utility Infrastructure – our team of specialists design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.
- Social Infrastructure – our team of specialists revitalise homes and communities through work ranging from retrofit to refurbishment, and ongoing maintenance.

Your Role: Planning Assistant
To operate effectively in a delivery-focused and often fast-paced environment, working within the planning department to ensure that information is compiled ready for work execution.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers to ensure a positive experience
- Manage workload to comply with clients’ Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Oversee NRSWA requirements for individual schemes to minimise financial risk and non-compliance
- Coordinate with local authorities
- Maintain effective liaison with all stakeholders
- Perform all other assigned duties

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Skills:
- NRSWA (Awareness) certification
- Ability to self-motivate and collaborate within a team
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Confidence using computer packages, particularly familiarity with planning tools
- Proficiency in working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
- I.T literacy, with expertise in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be a team player while also working independently
- Demonstrates respect, sensitivity and discretion for public-facing roles
- Some flexibility with working hours may be required
