Utility Infrastructure – Our team of Utility Infrastructure specialists design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.

Social Infrastructure – Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.

Join the thriving and dynamic United Infrastructure Services team in Washington! As a rapidly growing business, we are excited to welcome a new Planning Assistant to contribute to our success. Your Role: Planning Assistant

To operate effectively in a delivery focused and often fast-paced environment, working within the planning department to ensure that information is compiled ready for the work to be carried out.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customer to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Manage workload to comply with Clients Service Level Agreements
  • Manage NRSWA requirements on individual schemes in order to minimise financial risk and non-compliance
  • Coordination with local authorities
  • Effective liaison with all stakeholders
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • NRSWA (Awareness)
  • The ability to self-motivate and work within a team
  • Good spoken and written communication skills at all levels
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidence in using computer packages and familiarity with planning tools
  • The ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • I.T literate particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, but also comfortable working alone
  • Understands the need for respect, sensitivity and discretion in a public facing role
  • Some flexibility of working hours may be required
  • Self-Motivated, enthusiastic and calm under pressure
