Job Description: Planning Assistant

Your Role: Planning Assistant
To operate effectively in a delivery-focused, fast-paced environment, working within the planning department to ensure that information is compiled ready for work to be carried out effectively.

Responsibilities

- Liaising with customers to ensure a positive customer experience
- Managing workload to comply with Clients' Service Level Agreements
- Managing NRSWA requirements on individual schemes to minimise financial risk and non-compliance
- Coordination with local authorities
- Effective liaison with all stakeholders
- Any other duties assigned
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- NRSWA (Awareness)
- Ability to self-motivate and work within a team
- Good spoken and written communication skills at all levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence in using computer packages and knowledge of planning tools
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; I.T literate, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a team player, comfortable working both independently and alone
- Understands the need for respect, sensitivity, and discretion in a public-facing role
- Some flexibility in working hours may be required
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and calm under pressure
