Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Rolls-Royce SMR provides a British solution to a global energy challenge, leading the way in Small Modular Reactor technology and shaping the UK’s premier green export opportunity.

About the Role

Our Operations & Supply Chain function plays a key role in enabling programme delivery through robust, integrated planning. The Planning capability ensures alignment between demand, supply, inventory and financial performance across the business.

In this context, we’re looking for a Planning & Control Manager to lead the development and execution of our integrated SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process. You’ll work closely with Programme, Supply Chain, Finance and Delivery teams to ensure effective planning and decision-making across medium and long-term horizons.

Reporting into the Head of Planning, you’ll play a key role in establishing a best-in-class planning function that supports strategic growth and delivery.

We’ll Need You To

  • Lead the development and deployment of the SIOP process across the organisation.
  • Integrate demand, supply, inventory and financial planning into a single, aligned framework.
  • Drive cross-functional planning processes to ensure alignment across the business.
  • Develop forecasts, demand plans and scenario modelling to support decision-making.
  • Assess supply chain capacity and constraints against programme requirements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure governance, processes and systems for planning are defined and maintained.
  • Coordinate planning cycles and communicate outputs across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practice within planning and control.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
