About Intersect MBO
Intersect MBO is the member-based organisation that supports Cardano’s decentralised governance. Formed to ensure Cardano’s ecosystem remains community-led and self-sustaining, Intersect acts as a convenor and enabler, connecting:

Intersect currently administers over 400 million ADA in initiatives for Cardano’s ecosystem and decentralised treasury, while playing a key role in tier-1 ecosystem integrations and operational coordination.

The Role
We’re seeking a Delivery Planning Lead to strengthen how Intersect plans, coordinates, and delivers work across multiple teams and functions.

Core Responsibilities
Planning & Prioritisation
- Lead annual, quarterly, and ongoing planning across multiple teams/functions
- Facilitate planning discussions to align workstreams around shared:
- Priorities
- Milestones
- Timelines
- Maintain a clear, forward-looking planning cadence
- Support teams in realistic delivery planning, sequencing, and dependency identification
- Bridge strategic objectives with operational delivery

Delivery Readiness & Coordination
- Review delivery plans to identify:
- Risks
- Dependencies
- Constraints
- Feasibility concerns
- Collaborate with functional leaders to improve planning quality, visibility, and consistency
- Support cross-functional coordination where workstreams overlap or compete for resources
- Proactively surface risks before they impact outcomes
- Promote a transparent, risk-aware approach to planning and execution
Planning Frameworks & Operational Excellence
- Create/ maintain:
- Planning templates
- Frameworks
- Guidance and documentation
- Continuously improve planning processes and ways of working
- Ensure planning activities remain lightweight, practical, and outcome-focused
- Advocate for consistent planning/prioritisation/delivery readiness approaches across teams
- Drive organisational maturity via effective planning disciplines
Reporting & Leadership Visibility
- Produce clear summaries of:
- Planning processes
- Delivery insights
- Progress updates
- Support leadership visibility into:
- Delivery readiness
- Progress
- Risks
- Decision points
- Provide stakeholders with timely, actionable data for decision-making
- Help leadership understand:
- Organisational capacity
- Dependencies
- Trade-offs
- Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
Core Competencies & Experience
ESSENTIAL (Must-Have)
- Proven experience in:
- Operational/programme planning
- Delivery management
- PMO, business operations, or related disciplines
- Ability to facilitate planning/prioritisation in multi-team settings
- Experience supporting annual/quarterly planning cycles in scaling organisations
- Comfort in fast-moving, cross-functional, or remote-first operation environments
- Strong ability to:
- Identify risks/dependencies/constraints
- Communicate trade-offs/feasibility trade-offs to leadership
- Experience leveraging data, operational artefacts, and analytics for decision-making
- Familiarity with:
- Portfolio management
- Programme governance
- Delivery operations
- Technical/operational alignment with:
- Engineering, product, or platform-focused teams
- Background in:
- Startups/scale-ups
- Technology organisations
- Nonprofits
- Globally distributed environments
