Whitehouse Construction is a leading Civil Engineering contractor and a specialist in the manufacture and installation of Property Flood Resilience (PFR) solutions - helping to protect homes and businesses from flooding across the UK.
We are looking to recruit a confident, well-organised Plant/Buying Administrator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, assisting our Plant & Buying Manager with the day-to-day running of plant and basic buying operations.
Main Duties
- Supporting the Plant Manager with day-to-day issues, needs, and queries arising from the management of Whitehouse Construction’s plant and equipment.
- Maintaining service and maintenance records and ensuring they are up to date.
- Maintaining testing and calibration records and ensuring they are up to date.
- Assisting our Plant Manager during external and internal audits.
- Fulfilment and stock management of Site Consumables.
- Fulfilment and stock management of PPE.
- Fulfilment and stock management of Yard Bulk Materials including Fuel.
- Fulfilment and stock management of Office Stationary.

Person Specification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel etc.) and Outlook.
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Reliable with a positive attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to use your own initiative.
- Good timekeeping and attendance.
As part of our team, you'll receive structured, hands-on training from experienced colleagues, allowing you to develop your skills at a pace that builds confidence and competence. No previous experience is required. If you have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we'll provide all the training and support you need to build a long-term career with Whitehouse Construction.
