Senior Plant & Resource Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for leading the Plant Logistics, Stores, and Resource Management teams, ensuring:

  • Safe, efficient, and compliant asset, material, and resource coordination
  • Effective people leadership and operational excellence
  • Site readiness—ensuring the right equipment is available at the right time
  • Continuous improvement in processes and safety standards

What You’ll Be Doing

Operational Management

  • Lead Plant Logistics, Stores, and Resource Management for seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate the utilisation, movement, and availability of plant assets and operational resources to meet project demands.

Safety Leadership (HomeSafe)

  • Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring risk identification, control, and compliance.
  • Act as a visible safety leader—setting standards and challenging unsafe practices.

Management of Change (STORM Process)

  • Safely plan, assess, and communicate operational changes.
  • Ensure effective risk-controlled implementation of new processes.

People & Capability Development

  • Lead and empower Assets & Logistics Coordinators, Stores Supervisors, Plant Department AGM Resource Supervisors, and their teams.
  • Maintain right-skilled teams to support operational delivery.

Asset, Stores & Resource Management

  • Oversee inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, and resource planning.
  • Optimise asset utilisation and reduce waste.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor KPI performance to identify efficiency and reliability enhancement opportunities.
  • Leverage data and digital tools to drive operational excellence.

Compliance & Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to legal, industry, and company policies.
  • Support audits and process improvements following lessons learned.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with operational, project, procurement, and support teams.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and external partners.

Transformation & Innovation

  • Champion standardisation, digitalisation, and smart logistics solutions.
  • Align technology adoption to enhance efficiency and business growth.

  • Proven operational expertise in managing plant logistics, stores, and resources.
  • Experience leading teams in high-demand, dynamic environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on time management and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities at all levels.
  • A results-driven mindset, identifying and delivering operational improvements.
  • A passionate commitment to leadership, mentorship, and team empowerment.
