Plant Engineer (Construction Machinery)

£45,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + 1 Day of Holiday Each Year, Rising to 25 Days + Bank Holidays + Early Friday Finish + Overtime Availability + Company Benefits

Are you a Plant Engineer with mechanical or electrical maintenance experience looking to join a specialist lifting equipment company where you'll play a key role in keeping a modern fleet operating safely and efficiently?

This is an excellent opportunity for a Plant Engineer or Technician to take ownership of maintaining yard equipment, supporting breakdowns, and ensuring all machinery is prepared to the highest quality and safety standards.

The Role:

  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults both in the yard and on customer sites
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with ISO and Health & Safety standards
  • Prepare equipment to the highest standard before it leaves the depot
  • Provide technical support to engineers, office staff, and customers when required
  • Manage stock levels and identify parts requirements

The Person:

  • Experience in mechanical and electrical works
  • Background in heavy plant equipment maintenance
