Holy Trinity Glencraig is seeking a gifted evangelist or pioneer minister with a passion for helping people discover and follow Jesus.
We long to see our church become a Seedbed for God’s Kingdom, creating new opportunities for people living in Cultra, Craigavad and Seahill to encounter Jesus, grow as disciples and become part of a vibrant Christian community.
This exciting full-time role will focus on engaging people with little or no church connection through initiatives such as Alpha, schools’ engagement, community outreach, fresh expressions of church and the development of new discipleship pathways. Working alongside Rev Catherine Simpson (Rector) and Rev Kyle Flanigan (NSM) and supported by the Diocese, you will help shape new opportunities for mission that connect with people of all ages, particularly young adults, families and those currently beyond the reach of the church.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Loves Jesus and has a heart to share the good news with others.
- Has a passion for evangelism, disciple-making and pioneering new ministry.
- Has experience of outreach, church planting or fresh expressions of church.
- Is able to build authentic relationships.
- Is a great communicator who can inspire, equip and encourage volunteers.
- Has a particular desire to reach young adults and families.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
