We are recruiting for a Plant IT CIM Engineer for our customer
This is a 12 month contract, On-site, 5 days + occasional weekend work
Role And Responsibilities
- Lead the seamless operation of PFS (Plant Floor System) applications at Ford of Europe’s largest engine manufacturing facility
- Become the subject matter expert (SME) for several PFS applications and utilise that knowledge to provide production support, and new ideas and solutions
- Lead the escalation and resolution of critical incidents/issues, working and collaborating with in-plant customers, other in Plant IT and our global IT organisation, and suppliers
- Support the implementation of infrastructure and application projects
- Create, understand and use best-in-class IT processes, tools, methodologies and standards
- Ensure appropriate use of Ford IT processes, tools, methodologies and standards, participate in application/system administration, ensure appropriate security checks and controls are followed

What You Bring Along
Skills required:
- Software delivery (5 years+)
- Support, configuration and deployment of production environment applications i.e. the app stops, the business stops (5 years+)
- Systems administration, including planned upgrades and patches
- A proven ability from past roles to prioritize workloads and multitask
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours or on weekends if required
- Ensure audit requirements are met as described in our Master Audit Schedule
- Create and maintain documentation for supporting the plant

Skills Preferred:
- Experience of working within a manufacturing/plant environment
- Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support broader business needs as required
Experience Required:
- A proven ability from past roles to prioritize workloads and multitask
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across various internal/external departments as well as suppliers
- Proven experience of configuring applications for local usage
- Ability to demonstrate agile working and adaptability
Education Required:
- A degree or equivalent in an IT or related subject
Education Preferred:
- Or appropriate experience/ skills you believe are relevant
