Plant Manager
EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a global manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Plant Manager for its flagship manufacturing site near Wiltshire.
This is a highly visible leadership role, offering the opportunity to lead the company's largest manufacturing site and play a key role in shaping its future. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will build on an already successful transformation programme, driving operational excellence while developing a high-performing leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day performance of a complex manufacturing site
- Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Coach, develop, and mentor the site leadership team
- Continue the site's cultural transformation, embedding a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
- Build strong relationships across the business, including employee representatives and unions
- Maintain a visible leadership presence on the shop floor, engaging with teams at every level
- Deliver sustainable improvements in productivity, performance, and profitability

About You
We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who can demonstrate:
- Previous Plant Manager or Site Manager experience within a complex manufacturing environment
- A strong engineering or technical background
- A proven track record of leading operational and cultural change
- Exceptional people leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Experience working within a unionised manufacturing environment would be advantageous
