Big Chief Hire in Bradfeld is seeking someone to fill a hands-on role where you’ll spend the majority of your time on-site, servicing and repairing earthmoving and heavy machinery at client locations across NSW.

What You Will Do

Travel to sites to service, maintain, and repair plant and machinery, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in the field Conduct safety inspections and ensure machinery meets operational standards Maintain accurate service records and document repairs thoroughly Work independently while supporting the Big Chief team Work professionally with our client ensuring they receive professional service delivery at all times

What You Will Bring

Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Plant & Machinery, or similar qualification 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with heavy machinery or field service work Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Valid driver’s licence (HR licence or higher preferred) Ability to work independently, travel to sites, and thrive in a field-based environment Safety-first mindset with commitment to OH&S compliance
