Are you an experienced technician looking to take your career to the next level? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join TMI as a Plant Senior Team Member. In this key role, you will be part of our dedicated Plant Team, responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing on-site plant and equipment. Whether you're a skilled electrician or have expertise in mechanical systems, this role offers the perfect platform to apply your skills and make a significant impact on our production goals. If you like to bring your industrial experience into hydraulics and pneumatics while leveraging your electrical background, this is the ideal opportunity.
Your work will involve performing regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the depot’s high-tech machinery.

This permanent position is based at our Temple Mills depot in Leyton, London.
The close date for this role is 5pm, on Friday 24 July 2026.
Internal use only: This role is RFJ with a salary of £70,412.93.
We're looking for someone to:
- Diagnose and repair faults on depot plant and equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Operate various mobile plant equipment within the depot.
- Adhere to statutory regulations and internal standards (EUKL, NPI).
- Carry out routine and emergency maintenance to ensure plant and machinery reliability.
- Assist with less complex tasks and cover for the Team Technician when required.
- Operate powered plant and machinery (training provided).
- The use of technical systems such as BMS.
- Recording of data and repairs in infrastructure management systems.
Essential experience:
- Recognized craft apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical fields with post-apprenticeship experience in maintenance.
- Minimum qualification of City & Guilds T3 or ONC in electronics, mechanics, or related fields.
- Quick learning ability with a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
