Our Plant & Tool Hire Controllers are at the heart of maintaining smooth branch operations and ensuring branch success. In partnership with the Hire Manager, you’ll drive performance by handling hire transactions, stock management, administrative tasks, and contributing to outstanding customer experiences.

Based within a busy branch, you’ll thrive in a hardworking, supportive team that takes great pride in delivering exceptional customer service daily.

  • Keeping daily operations running seamlessly by assisting across all depot functions
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve branch targets (e.g., hire sales and KPI consistency), leveraging strong communication and organisational skills
  • Facilitating efficient logistics by assisting with deliveries and collections
  • Supporting equipment preparation and maintenance—including testing, cleaning, and ensuring machinery is fully operational
