Join One of the UK's Largest Infrastructure Projects
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Plant & Vehicle Marshal to join the EKFB team delivering the HS2 project in Chipping Warden. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a major infrastructure project where safety, teamwork, and professionalism are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely marshal and direct the movement of plant, vehicles, and pedestrians across the site.
- Ensure all vehicle movements are carried out safely and in accordance with site traffic management plans.
- Maintain clear communication with plant operators, drivers, and site personnel using agreed hand signals and radios.
- Monitor designated access and egress routes to minimize risks and prevent incidents.
- Conduct daily inspections of traffic management measures and report any defects or hazards.
- Assist with deliveries and ensure loading and unloading activities are completed safely.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Report unsafe acts, near misses, and incidents promptly.
- Support the wider site team in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Plant & Vehicle Marshal qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- Previous experience working on large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge unsafe behaviour.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- HS2 induction or previous HS2 experience.
- Highways or major infrastructure project experience.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Safety Critical Medical.
