Plasterer

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week (8am-5pm Monday- Friday)

Salary up to £34,280.03 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Plasterer to join our local repairs team, working across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role delivering high quality plastering repairs and refurbishment works within occupied residential properties, with customer service at the heart of everything you do. You will be responsible for completing a wide range of plastering repairs, ensuring work is completed right first time, safely, on schedule and to agreed quality standards, while maintaining a professional and courteous approach with tenants and colleagues.

  • Undertake all aspects of plastering repairs including walls and ceilings
  • Carry out general repair works such as filling and making good
  • Deliver high quality workmanship in line with agreed standards and procedures
  • Ensure a first-time fix approach while working within time and budget parameters
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service and tenant satisfaction
  • Use a PDA to complete job updates, worksheets, photographs and related tasks
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition
  • Collect and manage materials and van stock as required
  • Work safely at all times, following health and safety procedures

Key Criteria

  • Proven experience working as a Plasterer
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plastering is desirable
  • Experience working in social housing is desirable
