Plasterer
Plasterer – Responsive Repairs Team
Together Housing Group is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our Responsive Repairs team across the Yorkshire and Humber region. This role will involve carrying out high-quality plastering repairs to our tenanted properties, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a satisfactory standard in one visit where possible.
Location: Work location(s) include Wakefield, Leeds, York, Bradford, and Dewsbury.

Responsibilities
- Carry out all types of plastering repairs in tenanted properties, adhering to job tickets, Opti-Time appointment slots, specifications, contract drawings, and building regulations – ensuring "Right First Time" excellence.
- Complete repairs in a single visit wherever possible, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain work records, both paper-based and electronic.
- Measure, quantify, and procure materials efficiently.
- Adhere to customer-focused principles:
- Protect tenants’ belongings using dustsheets and other safeguards.
- Clean up thoroughly and present a professional, welcoming standard.
- Engage with residents in a caring, polite, and sympathetic manner.
- Conduct risk assessments prior to work to ensure health, safety, and welfare for yourself, tenants, colleagues, and the public.
- Demonstrate reliability, productivity, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A full manual UK driving licence.
- City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Plastering (or equivalent NVQ Level 2 or higher – desirable).
- Proven experience in all plastering disciplines (e.g. skimming, artex, rendering, dry lining), along with other building trade skills where relevant.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills to accurately complete job tickets, time sheets, and documentation.
Personal Attributes
- A customer-first mindset, embodying empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation, particularly in relation to residential repairs.
- Commitment to efficiency, reliability, and continual improvement.

- Starting salary of £33,758, with annual pay scale increases.
- 27 days annual leave (increasing to 32 days over 5 years), plus bank holidays.

- Typical schedule: 37 hours/week, e.g., Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:00; Friday 08:00–15:30 (subject to business needs).
