Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Plasterer role based in Swansea. The Plasterer will:

  • Prepare surfaces
  • Mix plaster and related materials
  • Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other interior and exterior areas to achieve smooth or textured finishes as specified
  • Repair damaged surfaces
  • Install and finish stucco
  • Work on ceiling systems
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

  • Reading plans or instructions
  • Collaborating with other trades on-site
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized

The Plasterer will be expected to follow health and safety regulations, including site rules and personal protective equipment requirements.

Qualifications

  • Core plastering skills, including Plastering and Stucco application for a variety of surfaces
  • Experience working with Ceilings, including repairing, finishing, and installing ceiling surfaces
  • Appropriate construction safety credentials, such as a valid CSCS and CSCS Card
  • Relevant experience in residential or commercial construction, including on-site work with building trades
  • Ability to read basic plans or instructions, measure accurately, and work to agreed specifications and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safe working practices, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and working at height where required
  • Previous experience as a Plasterer or related trade qualification is preferred; apprenticeship or vocational training is beneficial.
