The Vacancy
Are you a Plasterer looking for your next role? Join Amplius and help us create safe, comfortable and high-quality homes for our customers. You’ll be part of our Internal Repairs Team, working in customers’ homes to carry out both small and larger plastering repair jobs to a high standard.
The Basics
- Salary: £35,624.62
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Amplius south region (Milton Keynes and surrounding areas)
- Work hours: Monday to Friday (4 days 08.30am - 5pm & 1 day 10am - 6pm)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out plastering inspections to identify repair needs in customers’ homes
- Completing rendering, floating and finishing coats to walls and ceilings
- Fitting plasterboard and installing internal partitions where required
- Applying external finishes such as pebbledash and sand render for protection
- Working safely at height using access equipment where needed
- Maintaining your work vehicle, reporting defects and keeping it in good condition
- Managing and accounting for materials, including ordering and collecting stock
- Using a mobile device or tablet to update and complete job information
- Participating in an out-of-hours rota service when required

This Role Is Perfect If You
- Are a qualified plasterer with City & Guilds, NVQ, or similar
- Have at least 2 years’ experience working as a plasterer
- Have a full UK driving licence and are happy to travel
- Can pass a DBS check
- Have the right to work in the UK (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
- Take pride in completing plastering work to a high standard
- Can look at a job and understand what repairs are needed
- Can work well on your own and also as part of a team
- Can spot problems and pay attention to detail
- Can communicate clearly with customers and colleagues
- Are comfortable using a mobile phone and tablet to manage your work
This role involves working across a variety of customer homes, so flexibility, resilience and a professional, customer-focused approach are essential.
