Role: Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £14.00+ p/hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)
Join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury as a Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative, producing high-quality plastic components in a clean, structured environment. If you have machining or production experience and are looking for a change, full training will be provided.

- Set up and operate vacuum forming machines, including loading tools and plastic sheets
- Monitor heating/forming cycles and trim finished components to specification
- Carry out quality checks and identify defects
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational
- Follow job sheets, production schedules, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Who are we looking for?
- Previous vacuum forming or plastics experience desirable but not essential
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and work to production standards
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
