Job Description

We’re hiring Platers – Methil | Navantia UK

Navantia UK is expanding and looking for multiple skilled Platers to join our growing team in Methil. Following the acquisition of Harland & Wolff’s facilities, we’re investing heavily in the future of UK shipbuilding, defence, maritime, and clean energy.

This is your opportunity to be part of nationally significant projects in a business with long-term vision, strong backing, and real momentum.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fabricating and welding structural steelwork to high standards
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Meeting quality, safety, and production targets
  • Collaborating with a skilled team to deliver on time

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in plating or welding
  • Strong Health & Safety awareness
  • A proactive, reliable, team-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quality work
  • NVQ 3 or time served.
