Platform Analyst
We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Platform Analyst.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for leading the initiation of projects, capturing and defining requirements through to delivery and assisting in the delivery of prioritised change for Transaction Management.
The role will ensure the successful implementation of functional deliveries and on-boarding of clients to existing and new channels and capabilities to deliver end to end solutions in support of Securities Services (SSv) and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of the platform roadmap (in JIRA), coordinating with Product Owners, Account managers, Operations and Technology, to include coordination of the development of training material, guides and specifications to assist client on-boarding
- Track the on-boarding of clients to strategic Transaction Capture channels to ensure achievement of annual digital adoption targets
- Deliver demonstrations of platform and channel capabilities to client and internal stakeholders. Readying of support teams for new digital capabilities, ensuring operating models are documented and agreed with stakeholders in a consistent format
- Be responsible for functional delivery, supporting end to end delivery life cycle to ensure deadlines are met across the transaction management platform, analysing problem statements and defining requirements
- Support the delivery of complex, high risk and cross functional/cross product programmes and ensure appropriate alignment with HSBC Functional Instruction Manuals and Risk Frameworks
- Participate in continuous improvement to the platform’s and wider HSBC approach to managing change, including identifying best practice both internally and externally

Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Significant track record of successful change delivery within a financial services environment, being an expert in Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Business Analysis with familiarity of Change Management and Agile Principles
- A good understanding of technical build, test and deployment technologies, with flexibility and adaptability and solid relationship management skills
- Exposure to working with technology teams with the ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors - must be a strong communicator both verbal and written
- A self-starter who takes accountability and ownership for coordinating and planning key activities with project management and reporting expertise through JIRA
- An understanding of digital capabilities and the industry landscape with knowledge of Custody, Treasury and Fund Administration services
