Platform & Communications Associate, VC Fund

Platform & Communications Associate | London | Full-time

We’re partnered with an ambitious early-stage venture capital fund to appoint a Platform & Communications Associate as it enters an exciting new phase of growth.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the ecosystem around a growing VC fund. Working closely with the Partners, you’ll build relationships across founders, investors, operators, and corporates to strengthen the firm’s network, reputation, and market presence.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in growing the firm’s external platform and community, helping to position it as a trusted partner to founders, investors, and the wider startup ecosystem. Responsibilities will include:

  • Building and nurturing relationships across the venture, startup, and technology ecosystem.
  • Developing partnerships that create long-term value for both the fund and its portfolio.
  • Supporting the firm’s brand and visibility through events, content, and community initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities to connect exceptional founders, investors, and partners.
  • Working closely with the investment team to strengthen market intelligence and surface high-quality opportunities.
  • Helping establish the fund as a recognised and well-connected player within the European venture ecosystem.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
