Development Support Co. — Event Platform Delivery
About the Role
You will support the delivery of event platforms, working alongside and reporting to Platform Managers and Senior Platform Managers across a range of projects. This is a developmental role within a collaborative team environment, designed to build your knowledge and experience across event technology and digital delivery.
You will contribute to the build and delivery of platforms, supporting multiple corporate accounts from initial brief through to final delivery. With guidance from senior team members, you’ll take ownership of defined tasks while developing a broader understanding of platform solutions and client requirements.
You will play a key supporting role within the wider production team, helping to ensure quality, effective communication, and smooth delivery across all platform elements.
Responsibilities
- Support the interpretation of client briefs and platform requirements alongside Platform Managers
- Assist in the setup and configuration of event platforms, including:
- Registration
- Content management
- Communications workflows
- Contribute to building elements such as:
- Agendas
- Attendee journeys
- Engagement tools (e.g. polling, Q&A)
- Support the design and implementation of audience engagement across the platform
- Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure:
- Accuracy
- Functionality across all platform elements
- Support testing processes, including:
- Internal reviews
- Client demonstrations
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, such as:
- Project plans
- Trackers, notes and timelines
- Track and manage assigned tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Support the creation, maintenance and interpretation of:
- Event reports (including project finances, platform analytics, post-event insights)
- Assist with budget management, including:
- Tracking costs
- Updating budget documents
- Supporting financial administration (e.g. purchase orders, reconciliations)
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (production, creative, digital, client services)
- Attend internal and client meetings as required, including:
- Taking notes
- Follow-ups
- Support platform delivery during live, hybrid and virtual events (onsite or remote)
- Escalate risks or issues to Platform Managers in a timely manner

Requirements

- Experience supporting client-facing projects

- Contribute to team activities
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications:
- Word
- Excel
- Outlook
