Platform Engineer // Liverpool hybrid // Up to £60,000 🚀
I'm working with a fast-growing UK e-commerce business that has built something genuinely unique.
This isn't your typical online retailer operating from a generic office park and outsourced warehouses. Everything happens from their impressive Liverpool campus - from product development and manufacturing through to fulfilment, operations, and technology.
Walk through the site and you'll see products being developed, manufactured, and shipped to customers across the UK and Europe, all from one location.
The office itself is a huge selling point. It's modern, open, and collaborative, with the feel of a scaling tech business rather than a traditional corporate environment. There's a real energy around the place - teams moving quickly, new ideas being implemented, and technology sitting right at the center of the business.

You'll spend three days a week onsite, surrounded by the wider operation and able to see first-hand the impact your work has on the business every day.
They're now looking for a Platform Engineer to help scale and modernize the infrastructure that underpins the entire business.
Working closely with the Technology Director and engineering teams, you'll take ownership of a hybrid cloud and on-premise environment, driving automation, improving reliability, and helping create a platform that allows developers to move faster and the business to continue scaling.
You'll be:
- Automating infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Managing and optimizing AWS environments alongside on-premise infrastructure
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, safer releases
- Enhancing monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities across the platform
- Improving platform security and resilience
- Working closely with developers to remove bottlenecks and improve the software delivery process

You'll need experience with:
- AWS
- Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Python
- Bash/Shell scripting
- Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE environments
