Platform Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Remote (UK)
£65,000 - £80,000 + Benefits

I'm currently working with a growing organisation investing heavily into AI, automation and intelligent systems, looking to hire a Platform Engineer to help build and support the cloud infrastructure powering modern AI applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer looking to develop their career within AI.

Working alongside an experienced AI team, you'll help build reliable, scalable production environments that support AI-powered applications, whilst gaining hands-on exposure to modern AI platforms, LLM-based systems and intelligent automation.

This isn't a research or data science role. The focus is on building resilient infrastructure, improving operational reliability and helping AI applications run successfully in production.

The role

You'll work across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering and production operations, supporting AI applications from deployment through to monitoring and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
