The ideal candidate is a highly driven engineer, comfortable in fast-moving environments, and passionate about solving complex infrastructure challenges. You’ll blend strong Linux and cloud fundamentals with automation, observability, reliability, and developer experience (DevEx). Where ambiguity meets opportunity, you’ll take ownership—proactively identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and elevating technical standards across the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the firm’s production platform, focusing on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure automation to accelerate software delivery.
- Build and maintain observability tooling, including:
- Monitoring and alerting systems
- Logging platforms
- Custom dashboards
- Incident response processes
- Drive improvements in developer experience (DevEx) through:
- Internal tooling
- Automation
- Streamlined engineering workflows
- Optimise and secure Linux-based cloud infrastructure, prioritising performance, resilience, and best-practice security controls.

Key Skills
- Cloud Infrastructure Mastery:
- Significant experience in managing and automating cloud environments, ideally AWS.
- Linux Systems Administration:
- Proficiency in production-critical Linux systems and infrastructure.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & Automation:
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD technologies.
- Observability & Reliability:
- Deep understanding of monitoring, alerting, and platform reliability engineering.
- Ownership & Problem-Solving:
- Proactive, high-ownership mindset with a track record in fast-paced, engineering-driven settings.
